Grandparents/Special Friends Day May 3rd

We are looking forward to bringing back Grandparents Day for a second year on Friday May 3rd! This will be a half day, NOON dismissal. This year we would like to get an idea of how many grandparents/special relatives will be attending so we can plan accordingly. All grandparents/special relatives are invited to join us for mass at 9am, then refreshments and visits to the classrooms afterwards. Please RSVP below!

Half Day Fun Day in June

If your kids are looking for something to do on the noon dismissal days, they can check out the Have Day Fun Days run by Mrs. Marchese and Mr. Gavin. Three days of activities, games and sports until car line pickup at 3:00 pm. For dates and registration information please click here. 

SKS Fall Classic
September 23, 2024

The SKS Fall Classic on September 23, 2024 is a tremendous opportunity to bring our entire SKS community together, while raising some significant dollars for the school!

The Fall Classic invite/registration is available here.

The day is a combination of events that start with a racquet outing at Overbrook Golf Club, a golf outing at St. Davids Golf Club, and a reception at St. Davids that evening.  It is open to all friends of SKS, which means we are casting our fundraising net beyond the current parents that includes alumni, alumni parents, and parishioners. All proceeds will go to benefit the school through the governance of the annual fund.  We have the capacity for 30 foursomes, around 50 racquets players, and 250 dinner reception tickets. Some portions of those categories have been pre-sold as part of larger sponsorships, so I strongly encourage anyone with interest to jump on the ticket information here to register.

Wellness at the Willows April 27th

An Evening with St. Martin De Porres

5PM Mass in Church with God’s Men
6PM Dinner with our guests in the Parish Center
God’s Men, the St. Martin de Porre’s men’s choir, sang their first liturgy in 2016 and has been on fire spreading the word of Christ since. Their music ministry is rooted in faith, with the goal of bringing people closer to God through their singing. They’ll be joined by members of the SKS choir. You don’t want to miss this!

Our New Calendar

The Parish Plan committees are continuing their work to make St. Katharine’s a warm, welcoming community for worshippers of all ages. Along with our Family Masses (see block above), we’ve added two monthly Masses that will feature teen and young adult choirs, lectors and cantors, both at 5:00pm on Saturday. To help parishioners decide which Mass to attend, you will now find a calendar on our website that describes the focus and features of each service.

Thanks to the Liturgy Experience and Parishioner Engagement committees for helping to make our parish an even stronger community of faith!

Children’s Church Choir 

Any SKS parishioner in grades 1-8 is welcome to join the St. Katharine’s Children’s Church Choir. Rehearsals are every Tuesday during lunch in the school library or Sunday in church at 10:45 am. The kids will sing and lead the worship two times a month at the 9:30 am Mass. Please see the attached flyer for the winter/spring Mass dates.
