Academics

St. Katharine of Siena School offers students the ability to strengthen both independent learning and cooperative learning skills. Our faculty offers a variety of teaching strategies in the classroom, such as cooperative learning, hands-on learning, project based learning, inquiry based learning as well as other teaching methods. Faculty are given the flexibility to teach content and skills in their own manner, utilizing their own particular strengths and teaching style to address the various learning needs of their students, ensuring that all learners master the curriculum. The Common Core Standards drive the curriculum and lesson planning and states the expectations for student learning. We have a disciplined approach to academics, are committed to academic excellence and integrate the core Catholic teachings and values.
