We want to welcome our new kindergarten students to St. Katharine of Siena School for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year!

We hope you are looking forward to wrapping up this school year and starting something fresh in the fall. You might feel like you have a million questions and things to do to get ready, but you will get everything done, and we will be here to help you along the way!

For now, here are some simple things you need to know to get started:

The school calendar will be finalized in a few weeks, but here are a few key dates so you can plan:

  • First day for grades 1-8 Wednesday, September 4, 2024
  • K & 1st Back to School Night Thursday, September 5, 2024
  • K Open House visit with parent  Friday, September 6, 2024
  • K first day of school  Monday, September 9, 2024

Grades 1 – 8 New Families

Welcome to our new students in grades 1 – 8 joining us at St. Katharine of Siena school for the upcoming school year! As parents who have already navigated a typical school year with your child, you know the basics of how things work. We will work with you to make your child’s transition to SKS as seamless as possible. You might feel like you have a million questions and things to do to get ready but we will be here to help you along the way.

In addition, in June you will included in our regular school wide communication with details to address before the first day of school.

Busing

Busing will be handled through the school office and you will get all pertinent information in late spring in order to sign up with your school district of residence.

Uniforms

Uniforms can be ordered through local vendors, you might want to wait until the beginning of summer to accomodate that growth spurt. You can find the vendor information in the school Handbook.
