High School Test Prep Program for 8th Grade Students

Katie Jones and Jennifer Loftus once again will offer high school entrance exam help after school for students who are interested.  They teach both test content and strategies, so students can perform better and feel more confident.   The classes begin Wednesday, 9/27, and will continue on consecutive Wednesdays through the end of October, 10/25.  Since volleyball and field hockey practices are right after school on Wednesdays, and they have been in touch with the coaches who understand that students may arrive late to practice.  They purposefully chose Wednesday as it seems to have the least conflicts; there was no “perfect” afternoon.

This year, Katie Jones and Jennifer Loftus will both teach for the hour.  They will each keep half the attending students for 30 minutes and then switch groups, so everyone will receive both the math and verbal lesson.
Things to Know:
     Dates:  Wednesdays, September 27-October 25
Time:  3:00 – 4:00 p.m.  Prompt pick-up will be at the school main entrance.
Cost:  $15 per class.  Your son/daughter can pay piecemeal at the start of each class, or Katie Jones and Mrs. Loftus will keep track of attendance and bill accordingly at the end.
R.S.V.P.:  No r.s.v.p. is necessary.  Students can just show up for as few or as many classes as desired.  Katie Jones and Jennifer Loftus will divide the group into two at the start of each class.
Snack:  It is recommended that students pack a snack and drink.
Materials:  No materials are needed other than a pencil.  We will supply everything else.
We look forward to working with your son/daughter. If you have any questions please email them at the following:
