Dear SKS Families,

At Monday’s school assembly, we skyped with author/humanitarian Alexi Lubomirski. In his video/skype he shared many important traits that we want to see in our children through our faith. Our students asked him many questions. We believe in educating the whole child.  We want our children to be great students, but beyond that, we want them to be kind, caring, compassionate, and polite.

Take time to watch Alexi’s video that he sent and use it to spur some dinner time discussion this week.

Last year, we had grades 5- 8 do a reflection essay on having a positive digital footprint as it relates to our faith and a person’s character. This year, instead of the essay, our teachers had a better idea. Here’s what four creative 8th grade students put together to get their message across to their peers.
